IBS Show 2022

Inside the IBS 2022

We went, we laughed, we cried, we had a lot of fun, lots of customers, lots of coffee, bad pizza, but one thing keeps standing out in our minds: We are the only ones with this smart home technology. EVERYONE got it and sees the need. Everyone at the CES Show and IBS show seems to have experienced a flooded basement or knows someone who has.

Roy Spencer

Founder/owner and inventor of the Basement DefenderTM attended the IBS NAHB show and was happy with the results. All kinds of companies are interested in our technology. We dominate anything else on the market with our patented technology (US Patent NO 9,441,625).

Why?

Because it’s the only system that tests your sump pumps every day and will send an alert if a problem is found. That and it’s been field tested for 4 years in the flooded basement capital of the world- Chicago. Also, Roy knows a thing or two about basement waterproofing. He started Perma-Seal Basement Systems, 43 years ago, with waterproofing experience already under his belt.

The FUTURE

We continue to grow, innovate, and make our technology a go-to platform for smart home buyers, builders, and property owners. The security and insurance industry is going to be great partners for us.
